Credit Analyst

About the Role

Evaluate corporate and SME loan applications, prepare credit appraisals, and make credit risk recommendations to the lending committee. You will work with a portfolio of 50+ clients across manufacturing, trade, and services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements and prepare detailed credit appraisal reports
• Conduct site visits and management interviews for large exposures
• Monitor existing facilities and flag early warning indicators
• Maintain compliance with CBSL lending regulations

Requirements

• 3+ years of credit analysis or corporate banking experience
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CIMA part-qualification preferred
• Strong financial modelling skills in Excel
