Legal Counsel — M&A and Corporate

About the Role

Provide in-house legal advisory to JKH Group on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters. You will work on some of Sri Lanka's most significant capital markets and real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise on M&A transactions from term sheet through to closing, including due diligence
• Draft and review shareholders' agreements, SPAs, and joint venture agreements
• Support the Group Company Secretary on board governance and CSE compliance
• Manage a panel of external law firms on retainer

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience in M&A or corporate law
• Attorney-at-Law (Sri Lanka) or equivalent qualification
• Prior experience at a top-tier law firm or MNC in-house team preferred
• Excellent drafting skills in English
